Summer Drama Camp

Each July, WCC sponsors a summer drama camp for kids ages 6-17. A fairy tale is chosen and the kids spend the week perfecting a musical production which is presented to the public at the end of the week. Registration begins in May at Town Hall and a registration fee is charged. Past performances have included Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Hansel and Gretel, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and Jack and the Beanstalk. This year's presentation is Cinderella in a Honea Path style!

Festival of Trees

Each year the Watkins Community Center hosts a Festival of Trees in December. It takes place the first Saturday in December in the Watkins Community Center after the Christmas parade and is free to the public. There are lots of beautifully decorated trees to view, entertainment, vendors, and crafts for the kids. Santa is also in attendance. The Honea Path Museum is open during this event as well. Christmas Trees remain on display throughout the month of December.
